Conflict Instructions

A conflict occurs when somebody has reported a buy/sell, but you believe their report to be false. You can only state a conflict if you are trying to buy an item higher than a persons reported buy price, or selling an item lower than a persons reported sell price. In some cases, somebody might report an "instasell" or an "instabuy" - in these cases, if their instasell is below your buy price or their instabuy is above your sell price, you may also state a conflict.

The reason for this is that, in the Grand Exchange, the highest buying offer for an item will always complete first and the lowest selling offer for an item will always complete first. So if somebody claims to have bought a Bandos Chestplate for 3100 but you have an offer in for 3125, then your offer should have completed first as it is priced higher. This is where you would state a conflict.
